Taryn P. Stein is a Florida based attorney born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Taryn Stein graduated with her Bachelor of Arts Degree with honors from York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Thereafter, Taryn moved to South Florida, where she attended law school and earned her Juris Doctorate at St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami Gardens, FL. In Law School, Taryn remained on the Dean’s List for consecutive years, along with receiving the 2011 Book Award for earning the highest score on her Senior Writing Requirement. Taryn was a member of the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review and a Competitor on the STU Moot Court Team where she competed in their appellate advocacy competitions around the United States. Taryn also completed an internship at the Miami Dade State Attorney’s Office where she actively prosecuted cases along with the incoming class of new state attorneys. Furthermore, Taryn volunteered her summers while in law school, working at Legal Aid Ontario, assisting refugees file claims for immigrant status.
For close to a decade before becoming an Associate at Steinlaw, P.A., Taryn was an Assistant Public Defender, where she spent her days in Broward County’s County and Circuit Courts trying complex and high-stakes Jury trials, Non-Jury Trials, Motions and other Hearings. Her experience in the courtroom has led to countless successful verdicts and resolutions for her clients from simple misdemeanors to the most serious felony charges. Furthermore, Taryn was a Supervising Attorney at the Broward County Public Defender’s Office where she tirelessly trained and assisted newly hired attorneys in become strong legal advocates for their clients. Taryn’s professional, yet, no-nonsense demeanor, along with her legal knowledge and preparedness has been admired by judges, attorneys and thousands of zealously represented clients over the years.
Now, as an Associate with Steinlaw, P.A., Taryn actively litigates Plaintiff’s claims, passionately representing injured workers in their claims against Insurance Carriers. In all the work that she does, Taryn aspires to advocate for and protect her clients in the most difficult and trying stages of their lives.
In addition to her work as an Attorney, Taryn Stein is happily married and a mother of three beautiful children. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading, running and hiking.
